After 16 years…
Today was a remarkable day. After sixteen years, I finally met Sister Cora again. I met her in 1992 when she was one of the missionaries who regularly visits our place. She is bubbly and very much down to earth. No wonder we clicked! hehehe..
She is now assigned in one of the schools here in the City and just came back from a 4-month stay in the holy land– Jerusalem! She has a lot of stories to tell but there is one thing I can’t forget about her story. Its about geneology (did I spell it right?) where she explained to me about connections of children to the parents and family (genetically). You might be interested to learn it too. Here it is:
Eldest Child - world depends on the Father
Second Child- world depends on the Mother
3rd Child- world depends on both parents
4th child- world depends on the family (siblings and parents)
5th child- same as eldest — Father inclined
6th child- same as the second — Mother inclined
7th child - same as the 3rd child
8th child - same as the 4th child
and the cycle continues…..
Check your family background and you’ll see what I mean. NOw if you’re the eldest, you would understand why you are closer to your dad. Include in yuor counting those siblings who already passed away.
So, now you’ll know why your 3rd child would want to be with mommy and daddy at the same time and why your second child is closer to mommy. This would help you understand the relationship and effects of families who teared apart and why the 3rd and 4th siblings are more affected than anyone else in the family. It could also give you an idea that family is so perfectly design and too precious to be taken for granted.
Have a blessed day everyone!

hmm… i think it doesn’t always turn out that way. we’re all closer to dad than mom.
