Learning from nature

We had a short vacation at hubby’s province and as expected, my child learned a lot from the new environment he is in. Tatang took him for a walk at the garden with the following fruit bearing trees and herbs and vegetables:

American Lemon (Giant Lemonade promise! and very yummy!)
Malunggay
Guyabano Tree
Bayabas (Guava) Tree
Santol Tree
Atis Tree
Aloe Vera
Narra Tree
Nim Tree
Mangoe Tree
Mangosteen seedling

There are more but thats all I can remember as of now. Hehehehe. Then we attended a dedication ceremony where the reception was held at the parents house. At their backyard were a couple of Kalamansi Trees and full of fruits Rambotan Tree. We were able to taste some in fact. Then just few meters away, one can see the vast rice field almost anywhere in the neighborhood. I pointed it out to my son and a few days later, I was amazed that he could still remember it as we passed by another one like that and said to me “Mommy, Rice Field!” .

He also recognized River, Mountain and the Snake which Tatang caught some nights ago. heheheh. He also love the “ala-camping mode” we had everytime we were at the dirty kitchen where we use woods to produce fire. It was a fun learning experience indeed. Except that he had diarrhea for few days. Huhuhuh..

Anyway, Thanks God for Forever Living Products that it was gone in just one day! Amazing, as expected!:)

In that vacation, he was also able to develop his imagination as Tatang shared bed time stories with him. Of course Nanay was there too but she is at work most of the time so it was Tatang who were with us often.

Learning can be fun indeed. Especially if its hands-on! Yahooooo!!!
