Philippines’ City of Smiles and Golden Friendship
I just joined a blogging contest from Pinay Mommy Online. One of the contest rules was to answer this question:
There are two cities in the Philippines that are called the City of Smiles and the City of Golden Friendship. What are the names of these cities?
City of Smiles – Bacolod City
City of Golden Friendship – Cagayan De Oro City
I have been to Cagayan De Oro City many times but I’ve never been to Bacolod yet. I am all the more intrigued especially when I heard that they are celebrating Maskara Festival this month. Oh well, I wish someday I’d be able to visit that place.
